Legal and ethical responsibilities: Familiarize yourself with state and federal regulations, reporting requirements, and your role in responding to suspected cases of abuse and neglect.

Develop strategies to reduce the risk of abuse and neglect within caregiving environments through improved policies, staff training, and fostering a culture of accountability and support.
